Do you remember when Jeremy Corbyn’s Twitter account was hacked and the hacker furnished us with such pearls of wisdom as ‘Davey Cameron is a pie’?

It turns out that it came about because a Corbyn staffer forgot to log out of the Labour leader’s Twitter account at a Berlin hostel, and an opportunistic fellow guest decided to have a little fun.

The Times Red Box broke the news today as thousands watching Prime Minister’s Questions were devastated to see that Sunday’s incident was not brought up.

At around 9.15pm on Sunday the person posing at Corbyn wrote: ‘Here… here we… here we f***ing go!’ followed by ‘davey cameron is a pie’, ‘f*** trident’ and ‘straya c***s.’

The ‘hack’ didn’t last long, but in that short space of time ‘davey cameron is a pie’ was retweeted thousands of times and started to trend.
